What EasyPassport is

EasyPassport offers free eligibility and document-organization tools for citizenship by descent — a guided eligibility wizard, a family-tree builder with GEDCOM import, and a document checklist — plus an optional marketplace that connects you with independent third-party specialists for paid calls and engagements. It is not a law firm, immigration service, or legal authority, and using it does not create an attorney–client relationship.

Not legal advice

We use language like “may qualify” and “likely eligible” because eligibility decisions are made by government agencies and administrative offices — not by us. Our eligibility outputs and law-derived modeling are general guidance, not a legal opinion. Always verify requirements with the relevant consulate, ministry, or a qualified professional. We do not provide individualized legal advice in any jurisdiction.

The expert marketplace

Experts on EasyPassport are independent providers, not our employees or agents. We facilitate scheduling and payment, but we are not a party to the professional services they provide and do not guarantee any outcome, advice, or result. Any engagement is between you and the expert.

Payments, fees, and cancellations

Paid services are processed by Stripe; we don't store your card details. EasyPassport charges a platform fee, and the remainder is paid out to the expert via Stripe Connect. Fixed-price calls are charged when you book; engagements may be quoted before you commit. Cancellations and refunds follow the terms shown at checkout for the specific service.

Accounts and acceptable use

You're responsible for activity under your account and for the accuracy of the lineage and documents you submit. Don't misuse the service, attempt to access other users' data, or upload content you don't have the right to share.

Availability

Some paid services may be unavailable to residents of certain U.S. states or foreign jurisdictions due to legal restrictions. We reserve the right to decline service where prohibited by law.

As-is; limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is.” We are not liable for inaccurate checklist items, missed documents, application outcomes, or the acts, advice, or results of independent experts. Your use is at your own risk.
