Cookie Policy

Last updated 2026-08-07

Essential

Cookies for authentication (keeping you signed in) and for security. These are required for the site to work and are always set.

Analytics

Privacy-respecting, aggregate usage analytics (Vercel Analytics), which does not use cookies to identify you across sites.

Advertising

We advertise on Google, and we use Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing to see which ads bring people here. With your consent, Google sets cookies in your browser for this — principally _gcl_au (and _gcl_aw when you arrive from one of our ads), which record that a click led to a signup or a purchase. Google LLC acts as our advertising partner for this, and the data may be used to build advertising audiences.

You choose. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland these cookies are off by default and are set only if you accept; elsewhere they are on unless you reject. Rejecting does not affect anything you can do on the site — our advertising tag still runs, but without cookies or advertising identifiers. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal we treat that as a rejection and it overrides any earlier choice.

You can change your mind here at any time — this control is the standing one, and it takes effect immediately:

Loading your current cookie choice…

The banner you saw on your first visit does not come back once you have chosen, so this page is where the choice lives.

Local storage

Your cookie choice is stored in your browser, so we do not have to ask again.

Working without an account

If you start before signing up, we keep your wizard answers and lineage on our servers, in a workspace we create for you, and a cookie in your browser is what lets you back into it. That cookie is not an account — it is a key to one — and both it and the workspace are deleted on the schedule set out under Retention in our Privacy Policy.
