Tax treatment

- Special regime: DNV holders explicitly exempt from PIT on foreign-source income for 2-year permit duration
- Foreign income: Foreign income earned during DNV is statutorily exempt from Montenegrin tax. Domestic income (which DNV holders cannot earn) would be at 9-15% PIT.
Statutory zero tax on foreign income for DNV duration — one of the EU candidate countries' best deals. Plus 9-15% PIT (low even by Balkan standards) if becoming tax-resident under another permit later.
