Tax treatment
- Becomes tax resident: DNV holders are STATUTORILY exempt from tax residency for the 6-month stay
- Special regime: Statutory non-resident treatment during DNV
- Foreign income: Foreign income earned during DNV stay is NOT taxable in Iceland (statutory exemption similar to Croatia).
Iceland DNV is explicitly designed to NOT trigger tax residency. Combined with 6-month max stay, applicants never cross the 183-day residency threshold.
