Major Nationality Law reforms: minimum donation raised from USD 250,000 to USD 3,000,000; minimum investment raised from USD 350,000 to USD 1,000,000. Dual citizenship explicitly codified (previously ambiguous).
Notes
DRAMATIC price hike December 2025 — formerly one of the cheapest CBI programs, Cambodia is now among the most expensive. The new pricing combined with weak passport mobility (~54 visa-free) makes it uncompetitive for pure mobility-seekers. Primary appeal post-reform: dual citizenship now explicit, Asia-Pacific business positioning, Khmer cultural integration for long-term residents. Required three physical visits is operationally unique.
